We would like to thank everybody who helped to organise the Marc Bolan 35th Anniversary Concert and make it such a success.
And of course special thanks to ALL THE ARTISTS who generously donated their time and THE DEVOTED FANS, without your support this event wouldn't be possible!
The show was hosted by Noddy Holder & Lynsey de Paul and featured T.Rex producer Tony Visconti, T.Rex fans Marc Almond and Boy George, John's Children band-mate Andy Ellison, T.Rex saxophonist Howie Casey, glam-rock contemporaries Alvin Stardust and Steve Harley, Level 42 Mike Lindup, Sex Pistol Glen Matlock, Linda Lewis plus many more.
All the performers were supported by the official Marc Bolan tribute band T.Rextasy with Danielz.
The event is in aid of the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund.
A share of Marc Bolan's song royalties has been paid to the Fund since his death in 1977, enabling his musical legacy to help songwriters and composers for years to come.
In 2009, the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund celebrated 75 years of helping songwriters and composers with a sell-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
The stellar line up included Kiki Dee, Rick Wakeman, Chris Difford, Melanie C, Mick Hucknall, Bill Wyman and the specially reformed Faces.
The incredible concert finished with the first performance by the Faces in 37 years and the band was presented with a PRS for Music Iconic Band award.
