How your donation is used

We use your donation to help members and former members of the Performing Right Society when they have financial problems. We help people who are unable to work because of illness, accidents or disability and we help those who may find things more difficult as they get older. We also support the immediate families of members and ex-members.

Making a real difference

With your support we are able to turn around the lives of current and former PRS members. We do this by providing short-term crisis loans, offer regular grants and help with things like paying a TV licence, home insurance or replacing a fridge. Or we fund annual holidays for members who receive regular assistance from us together with their spouses or partners.

Most importantly, we are a friendly, helpful place to turn when members feel like they have nowhere else to turn.

PRS for music Members benevolent Fund patron

Sir Tim Rice"I know many songwriters and composers who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own - you do if you spend four decades in the music business. Anything and everything that you are able to give will mean that they have somewhere to turn to in times of trouble." Sir Tim Rice
