Support Us

The PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund has been helping songwriters and composers in times of crisis since the 1930s. But we are only able to do this thanks to your generosity.

By donating to us today you can help us provide:

  • Free specialist medical diagnostic assessments
  • One-off grants in times of crisis
  • Regular assistance to cover basic living necessities
  • Sheltered accommodation for older members
  • Specialist financial advice

Most importantly, we are a friendly, helpful source of support when members feel they have nowhere to turn to. Please continue to support us!

Your Donation Makes A Difference

"I'm a singer and guitarist and was suffering from a seized-up shoulder and depression. I turned to the PRS for Music Members Fund for help and they arranged a free diagnostic appointment with BAPAM. It literally saved my life, my relationship, my job and my sanity."
Jim

"I was 57 and had been a musician all my working life until the onset of arthritis and the constant pain in my neck and shoulders forced me to stop. My social worker got in touch with the PRS for Music Members Fund, and I now receive regular financial support. This has made an enormous difference to the quality of my life. Thank you."
Mr D

"I got in touch with the Fund when the responsibities of caring for my wife with breast cancer and looking after my disabled son meant that I couldn't work. They gave me an immediate needs grant of £500 and put me in touch with a specialist money advisor. My wife is now in remission but caring for our son is emotionally and physically demanding so they've arranged a weekly grant to help with home insurance and the bills."

"I know many songwriters and composers who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own - you do if you spend four decades in the music business. Anything and everything that you are able to give will mean that they have somewhere to turn to in times of trouble." Sir Tim Rice
